Currently, I provide counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. I use a strength based integrative approach that sees each person as unique. I pull from a variety of models including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapies, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and Sports Psychology. I work with many challenges individuals face addressing emotional, behavioral, and social needs such as anxiety, depression, grief, domestic violence, abuse, ADHD, eating disorders, substance abuse, and more.
I focus on a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship where you will receive unconditional positive regard, compassion, support, and empathy as we work toward your goals. Along with addressing your challenges I like to explore “what is and/or what has been” working for you so those strengths already in you can be rediscovered and given an opportunity to grow.
I continue to educate myself both personally and professionally and I practice with openness and respect to all individuals and cultures. We all have a unique past, present, and future with unique problems, stories, qualities, and strengths. I look forward to helping you towards a peaceful, healthy, joyful, and genuinely fulfilling life.
